| Tuition does not include the following: |
- Non-Refundable Annual Enrollment Fee.
A fee of $115.00(if enrollment is received prior to
June 30, 2012) OR a fee of $150.00
(if enrollment is received after June 30, 2012) is required to
hold your student(s) place in a class(es) and is non-refundable.
This enrollment fee is PER family and PER program (Elementary/Intermediate
and MiddleSchool/High School).
This is paid directly to Northpoint and is payable at the time of enrollment.
- Administrative Fee.
A fee of $35.00 is due each quarter.
This administrative fee is PER student.
The first installment is due with the first tuition payment (July 16, 2012)
and the remaining installments are due with each subsequent tuition payment.
- Textbooks.
The purchase of textbooks is the responsibility of each family. Required texts are listed in the Course Descriptions.
- Other Classroom Materials.
Teachers may require other materials, such as notebooks, calculators, etc. See Course Description for details.
- Non-Refundable Lab/Supply Fees.
Some courses may require additional lab or supply fees. These fees are detailed on the Course Description.
This is to be paid, in full, with the first tuition installment.
- Study Hall Fees.
Elementary/intermediate students are allowed one(1) study hall each day. Study
hall is only available fourth period (12:05 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.) and sixth period
(2:05 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.) at a charge of $120.00 per year,
payable in four (4) installments of $30.00. This is to be paid at the time tuition and
administrative fees are due.
Middle school/high school students are allowed one (1) study hall each day at no
charge. Each additional study hall is $120.00 per year, payable in four(4) installments
of $30.00. This is to be paid at the time tuition and administrative fees are paid.
- Early Termination Fee.
If a student withdraws from a class (after the first two (2) weeks of that class) an early termination fee
is required. One hour and one and one-half hour classes require an $80.00 fee
and AM or PM blocks (Kindergarten - 3rd grade) require a $120.00 fee.
The fee is due at the time of withdrawal from the class.
- Late Fees.
If a tuition and/or administrative fee is not received by the stated due date, a
$25.00 tuition late fee, per class,
and a $10.00 administrative late
fee, per student, is to be included in the payments.
NOTE: Enrollment Fees, Tuition, Administrative Fees and Supply/Lab Fees are
all non-refundable.
-
Early Termination Policy
Students will be given a two week period at the
beginning of the school year (August 21, 2012-
September 4, 2012) to withdraw
from a class without incurring an early termination fee.
If a student withdraws from a class after that two
week period, an early termination fee of $80.00 will be charged
for each dropped class. The fee for students
who withdraw from a K-3 AM block class is $120.00.
All parents who wish to drop a student’s class
must present written notice at least one week in
advance to both the teacher and the administrator.
A detailed course description is available for every
class. This includes teacher biographies, textbook requirements,
prerequisites, tuition fees, lab and/or supply fees and all other pertinent
information. The purpose of this course description is to give the student and
parent a clear understanding of the expectations and level of that course.
Before the school year begins, each teacher is given a
class roster and will plan according to the number of students who have
enrolled in that particular class. He or she will budget, prepare and purchase
materials based on that number. When a student drops out of the class, it
creates a financial burden on both the teacher and the administrator.
Requests for an exception to this Early Termination Policy
must be presented to the Administrator and/or the
Board of Advisors.
