Students 3rd-12th Grade
Start Date: Tuesday, November 11th
The first few weeks will focus on mastering the fundamentals of chess, followed by plenty of match play and opportunities to test your skills against fellow players. As the club grows, we’ll even explore participating in local tournaments to give our students real competition experience!
All you’ll need is a chess board and pieces; timers will be provided. Our goal is to help students develop their chess abilities, build confidence, and have fun while sharpening their minds. This will be an ongoing club, so there will always be a place for students who want to think ahead, make their move, and enjoy the game of chess!
** Please read through the Northpoint Handbook and Code of ConductBEFORE registering your student, as you will be asked to digitally sign that you have read and agree to to it.
