Preschool-12th Grade Worship Arts and 7th-12th Elements of Art
Alyssa Choplin is an artist, educator, and mother of 4 children. (ages 6,12,14,and 17) She received her Art Education degree through Indiana University in 2001. She then began teaching art in public school (at the elementary and high school levels) until starting a family, where she was fortunate to get to stay at home while they were young. She continued pursuits in art, working on murals, selling art to boutiques, and creating artwork for individual clients. She also started Wild at HeART, an in-home Art Camp and school. Alyssa and her husband are blessed to have finally moved home to Indiana recently after being away for 18 years, living in both Maryland and Arizona. In 2017, she discovered her passion for teaching preschool both in Maryland and here in Indiana. She absolutely adores having the honor to shape the hearts and minds of little ones, helping them mature spiritually, emotionally, and academically. Alyssa has loved Jesus since she was a little girl and was raised by two parents who also deeply love the Lord. She has worked on staff with Young Life, as a director for the Teen Moms ministry YoungLives. She has served in youth ministry in various capacities, spoken at Women’s retreats, served on the prayer team, and sang on the Worship Team. She is currently a coach and worship leader for the Heartland Kids ministry at Heartland Church where she attends with her husband. Alyssa feels that children have the ability to know Jesus and understand many biblical principles from a very young age!

Pre-Kindergarten Lead Teacher
Sarah realized her passion for teaching in high school when she had the opportunity to cadet teach at Lakeview Christian Preschool. After graduating from Pike High School, she went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from IUPUI. She and her husband, Timothy have three amazing children: Caleb, Liam, and Anabella. While staying-at-home to raise her children Sarah got involved with Fishers United Methodist Preschool and served as a board member for six years. She also taught as an ENL teacher for Hamilton Southeastern and was a Pre-Kindergarten teacher for Geist Christian Weekday Ministries. Outside of the classroom, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, watching her son on the soccer field, genealogy, and volunteering for animal groups. When her daughter started at Northpoint, Sarah knew she wanted to be a part of the Northpoint family as well. She is excited to create a nurturing environment that is full of engaging hands-on activities!

Preschool 3's Lead Teacher:
Bobbie was born and raised in Waukegan, Illinois. She has a BA in Guidance and Counseling from Bob Jones University. After receiving her degree and getting married, she and her husband moved to Greenfield, IN. She began working at an early childhood school as an assistant teacher. She has worked in 2-year-old - kindergarten classrooms and has been a lead teacher as well. She and her husband have 3 kids.
Bobbie believes early childhood is a golden opportunity to teach children to love God and become lifelong learners. She likes to provide the class with fun, hands-on and play based learning.

Ana was born and raised in Huntington, Indiana and has a degree in Elementary Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. After receiving her degree in 2017, she moved to Avon, Indiana and taught for four years in Brownsburg Community School Corporation with 4 years experience both in Kindergarten and First Grade. This will be her fourth year with Northpoint teaching Kindergarten. Ana and her husband, Zachary, have a spunky little boy, named Calum, who is four years old and a precious nine month old little girl named Gwenyth. Growing up, Ana was very involved in her church community and incorporating her faith in learning has always been a desire of her heart. Ana and her husband both attend Traders Point Christian Church where her husband works as the Broadcast Video Director at the Northwest location. One of her main goals is to build long lasting, close relationships with parents and students, allowing each child to feel loved, valued, and accepted every day. She feels that winning the heart of a child is what allows each to pursue a passion for learning and soar academically.

Brenda was born and raised in Fort Wayne and received an Elementary Education degree from Ball State University. After college she and her husband started a home in Westfield, where she taught at Washington Elementary as a first-grade teacher. With the arrival of their first child, Brenda stepped away from the classroom to become a stay-at-home mom, something she always desired. A few years later their second child was born, and Brenda considers it a privilege and a gift to have spent time at home these past years raising their two daughters. The Brittons chose to homeschool their children, allowing Brenda to utilize her education background at home and within local co-ops and various classes at church. When her children began high school, they attended Northpoint for many courses at that level. Since both of them have graduated, Brenda has enjoyed getting back into the formal classroom to share the discovery of learning with young children. An active member of Venture Christian Church, she appreciates her role as one of the worship pianists. In addition to spending time with family, she also enjoys entertaining, antiquing, and sipping on a hot cup of coffee.

Ali was born and raised on the Southside of Indianapolis. She received her Elementary Education degree from IUPUI in 2016 with a Dual License in Reading. Since then, Ali taught for five years in first and second grade at a public school district. This is her fourth year with Northpoint. She absolutely loves building positive relationships with students and making learning fun and engaging for them. She feels very grateful and blessed to pursue her love for teaching while sharing her love for the Lord. She and her husband, Dalton, recently built their forever home on the same property as her parents and siblings. They welcomed their son, Walker, in February of 2020 and daughter, Sophia, in July 2024. As a family, they enjoy boating, camping and being outdoors!

A native of Columbus, Indiana, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Ball State University, with a Kindergarten endorsement and a departmental minor in Spanish. She taught 1st through 3rd grade at Pleasant Run Elementary for eight years, before staying home with her 2 children. Most recently she spent 12 years at Faith Montessori Preschool in Westfield.
Dawn and her college-sweetheart husband, Mike, live in Noblesville. Their daughter, Kate, is studying nursing at Indiana Wesleyan University, and their son, Joshua, is a senior at Noblesville High School. The family worships at Genesis Church.
In her free time, Dawn enjoys baking, watching movies, and spending time with her loved ones. She is also a proud 15-year breast cancer survivor, deeply thankful for the journey that has strengthened her faith and perspective.

Alex grew up in Madison, Indiana. She received her degree in Elementary Education from Ball State University. Upon graduating, she taught for six years, ranging from pre-K through third grade and she has spent the last eight years working in kids ministry at Northview Church. She has a passion for helping kids understand and fall in love with God’s word. She is excited for the opportunity to use her experience in education and ministry at Northpoint!
Alex has been married to her husband, Jason, for 12 years and they have two children, Evie and Jack, who attend Northpoint. Being their mom is one of her highest callings and favorite roles!
Alex loves spending time with her family, going on family bike rides, relaxing at the pool and baking sourdough bread.

Barb grew up a southern girl but has lived in Indiana since the 80s. She graduated from Ball State with a B.S. degree in Geography. Her teaching career began in the early 90s and she has been teaching, subbing, or working in a school ever since. The whole Mross family has been very involved in the youth programs at their church. Barb has been a group leader for the Confirmation program for 7th-8th graders, has led VBS, taught Sunday school, and helped with the Youth Praise Band. Barb joined Northpoint’s staff in 2017 and began teaching science in 2020. She is also the Head Coach for the Panthers Cheerleaders. Barb and her husband, Steve, were married in 1992 and have 3 wonderful adult kids. Their daughter is a 2025 Northpoint graduate.

Ashley grew up in the small town of Edinburgh, IN and attended Franklin College to receive her bachelors degree in elementary education. Ashley has student taught in multiple grade level settings, but solely taught in 2nd grade professionally since she graduated from college, as she has a huge passion for teaching phonics and writing to young learners. If she isn’t teaching in the classroom setting, you may find her teaching others about sourdough and simple homemaking recipes.
Ashley resides in Westfield with her husband Dan, who she met on a mission trip back in 2019. They’ve been married for almost four years now, and they have two dogs, Murphy and Archie, a cat Gino, and their first baby girl on the way this fall.

Alyson grew up in Avon, IN and attended IU Bloomington where she earned a BS in elementary education. Alyson taught in HSE Schools in Fishers from 2002 to 2021 with a few years off in between for maternity leave years. She spent most of this time teaching fifth grade math and science in an intermediate school. Alyson enjoys partnering with parents and other teachers to make the learning experience the best it can be for each child.
Alyson lives in Noblesville with her family, which includes her husband of 18 years and her two high school age teenagers. Being a mom is one of her highest callings, but she has been missing the chance to tap into her passion for teaching and helping others. Alyson is excited for the opportunity to return to the classroom teaching her favorite subject (math) to kids in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade at Northpoint. Alyson and her family enjoy playing with their 10-pound mischievous dog, boating, and soaking in time with both sets of the kids’ grandparents who live close by. They attend Northview Carmel and enjoy traveling as much as they can to experience God’s beauty in creation.

Born in Ohio, Danielle grew up on a farm passed down by family members for five generations. She moved to Indiana to pursue her education at Anderson University, where she attained a BA in Language Arts Education. After graduation, Danielle taught seventh grade (honors, general, and intervention) language arts classes at Pendleton Heights Middle School for five years. During that time, she married her husband, moved to Fortville, and had a son. Desiring to spend more time with her son, Danielle resigned from her position at the middle school, but continued to pursue other avenues of teaching such as tutoring, teaching ESL classes through VIPKID, and working part-time at a preschool. Danielle and her husband, Brent, currently have three children (two boys and a girl). The oldest son attends Northpoint this year as a kindergartner. Her husband enjoys coaching Hancock county’s Special Olympics basketball and golf teams. Their whole family attends these sporting events t o cheer on Hancock’s athletes. Danielle also enjoys participating in reading groups, writing in her spare time, and traveling back to Ohio to spend time with family. She is passionate about giving her children opportunities to discover God and grow in knowledge and character. Danielle is grateful to be a part of the Northpoint community.

Vèronique has a keen ability to engage and empower multitudes of people, especially children. Her amazing story of triumph through unyielding life experiences has taught her to master the art of helping. She directly connects children and adults from a true place of understanding. With an unwavering passion for her faith, leadership, and education she brings over 20 years of experience in life coaching, teaching and training others from a variety of backgrounds. Graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Master of Arts in Education from University of Phoenix, and Master of Arts in Ministry from Virginia Christian College, Mrs. Hamilton adopts the mission of helping others, big and small, to never stop starting becoming all they are destined to be. Natalia Wallace is the mother of four Northpoint students and is very excited to join the full-time teaching cadre as the Intermediate Social Studies/ History teacher. This is a subject that is near to her heart, and she is looking forward to helping nurture the love of learning history, geography and civics in the hearts of her students.
Mrs. Wallace earned her master’s degree in international relations in South Africa andminored in foreign language studies and linguistics while over the last 10 years pursuing education in tactical medical emergency management and security instruction. Together with her husband, Jonathan, she has co-created several curricula and operates NES, a local Security and Training Academy for personal and executive protection. In 2020 she created SafeTeen 360°- a course to engage teenagers in their own personal safety in an increasingly dangerous world.
Natalia’s heart belongs to Jesus, and she is dedicated to share His love wherever she goes.

Scott Badger brings more than 40 years of experience in entrepreneurship, consulting, technology, sales, and business leadership to the classroom. As a founder of Northpoint Christian Academy and multiple business ventures, Scott combines real-world experience with a passion for preparing the next generation.
He teaches Entrepreneurship from a Christian Worldview, helping students develop creativity, financial literacy, leadership, business planning, sales, marketing, and problem-solving skills while applying biblical principles to business and life.
Scott encourages students to recognize their God-given gifts, pursue opportunities with courage, serve others, create value, practice good stewardship, and lead with integrity and purpose.

Jon Streeter was born and raised in Indianapolis and was active in his local community throughout his high school years. A member of Castleview Baptist Church since 2008, he was involved in the youth ministry for many years and has developed a passion for youth education. He attended Hillsdale College and Oxford University and holds degrees in History, Political Science and Economics. Since 2006 he has taught at Northpoint Homeschool Classes with classes in American and World History, Government, Economics and Debate. He also runs a private tutoring program at Fishers Library for students in Military History and German. In 2014, he joined the staff of Verity Institute, a CLEP-based college program, where he teaches American Politics and both Macro- and Microeconomics. In what little free time he has, he runs a travel company called AET, which organizes educational trips in the United States and Europe and raises money to allow underprivileged high school students the opportunity to travel and “walk in the footsteps of history.

Erica Dick has lived in Indianapolis since 1995. She and husband Ryan were married in May of 2006, and Erica is currently working alongside her husband as he serves as a pastor at Hope Church in Anderson, IN. Erica has three kiddos who fill her life with lots of noise and hilarious dialogue. They are a source of joy, and she appreciates the two-day-a-week schedule at Northpoint that allows her to teach AND be home with her kids most of the week. Erica received her B.A. in Film Studies and Communication from Huntington University in Huntington, Indiana. She graduated with an emphasis in screenwriting and producing, and has had the opportunity to write, direct or produce five short films. She has also written a novel, several children's books, several screenplays and continues to write in her spare time. She has worked at Northpoint since 2007.

Alex is a Ball State University graduate with a degree in journalism graphics (Class of 2009). With a background in both creative and marketing roles, she has served a variety of non-profits and organizations, combining her skills and heart for purpose-driven work. Alex is passionate about equipping the next generation with practical, transferable skills they can carry into any career.
She and her husband, Ben, have four children who all attend Northpoint and together they run a graphic design and marketing freelance business. Alex also enjoys coaching the 4th–6th grade girls and boys volleyball teams at Northpoint, where she continues to invest in students both on and off the court.

Christie Paul brings a unique blend of real-world experience, lifelong learning, and a heart for serving others to Northpoint's High School Forensics program. While studying Criminal Justice at IUPUI, she was part of the university's first experimental Forensic Science class, sparking a lasting interest in the field.
After feeling the Lord call her in a new direction, Christie devoted her life to serving Christ, raising a family, and investing in her community. She and her husband, Tim, a veterinarian, have been married for more than 34 years and have two grown daughters.
Christie is actively involved at Harbour Shores Church, where she serves in music ministry, mentors young mothers, and supports ministries serving women in the workforce. She enjoys gardening, hand embroidery, and continuing to learn about neuroscience and personal growth.
Christie's passion for teaching, combined with her unique background and unwavering faith, make her a wonderful addition to the Northpoint family. She is excited to help students explore the fascinating world of forensic science while encouraging them to grow both academically and in their walk with Christ.

I am Kelci Kempson, and here’s a little about me! I am currently studying Full Stack Computer Science. I love traveling and have been to 35 states and 13 countries. My favorite places are Budapest, Hungary, and anywhere with a beach. My favorite pastimes are playing sports, particularly soccer, watching movies, reading, and writing. I have self-published a novel, and I love writing poems. While I am an introvert, I love connecting with people and cannot wait to meet y’all!

Preston was raised in Pendleton, Indiana. He met his soon-to-be wife Grace while attending Purdue University where he obtained a B.S in Biology. He has always had a passion in working with children, and has gotten to live those passions by teaching instructional sport summer camps and working to take care of children with special needs, making sure they got to feel the joy of life and care they deserved. He loves to teach and spread the love of Jesus, and believes science only points to an almighty Creator who loves and cares for us.

Megan Taylor graduated with a degree in math education from Taylor University and has taught high school math in both public and private school settings. She loves finding new ways to make the material accessible and relevant to each learner. In addition to developing students' logic and problem solving skills, Megan enjoys showing youth how every topic (even math!) points to a good and holy Creator. A few years ago, Megan took a year off from teaching to do a Discipleship Training School through YWAM. In addition to teaching, Megan is an avid reader and runner and a full time mom to sons, Bennett and Shepherd!

Chad grew up in Rochester, New York, as the third of six children. He moved to Missouri where he earned his BA in Bible. Upon graduation he went into full-time ministry with a focus on urban ministry. He moved to Brooklyn, NY where he led a program reaching children and families in the Bronx and Harlem. In 1987 he married Cheryl. A year later they moved to Indianapolis to lead The Caring Place, the outreach program of Calvary Temple. He led that ministry until 2022. Ministering to the urban children and families is where he learned how important it is for people to truly know Christ, which means they must know the Word of God and understand their faith. For then and only then can they be confident in their relationship with him and confidently share that faith with those around them. This is why he has such a love for philosophy, apologetics, and theology and wants young people to understand them. Cheryl and Chad have four children, four children-in-law, and nine grandchildren. In 2018, Chad earned an MA in Philosophy and Apologetics from Lincoln Christian University. In 2022 he transitioned from working at the church to start the iNDY Network, a non-profit focused on creating a community of believers that reach individuals and renew neighborhoods. He is on the board of P30, a non-profit focused on providing space and support for entrepreneurs who are from the far eastside of Indianapolis or are establishing businesses on the far eastside. He has a love of teaching and believes that young people need to discover the truth and the power of the Gospel so they may one day be able to join Paul in stating, “I am not ashamed of the Gospel for it is the power of God for salvation” (Ro. 1:16). That is why he loves to teach Philosophy, Apologetics, Theology, and Bible, and to do so in a discussion style that allows young people to experience the truth and the power of the Gospel.

&P)Kaily graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing in 2017 and became a Family Nurse Practitioner. Throughout her healthcare career, she has worked in the Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and surgery, giving her a deep appreciation for the incredible design and complexity of the human body.
Anatomy and physiology have always been among Kaily’s greatest passions, and she is excited to help students discover not only how the human body works, but also the awe and wonder of God’s creation through its intricate design.
Kaily and her husband have two young children who also attend Northpoint. Their home is always full of activity with two dogs, three cats, and a bearded dragon. Having accepted Christ at a young age, Kaily strives to live each day for Him and considers it a privilege to integrate her faith with her love of science and education.
She is honored to be part of the Northpoint community and looks forward to encouraging students to grow academically while pointing them toward the wisdom, creativity, and majesty of our Creator.

Bobbi Sue graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Development at Frederick Community College in 1998 and took some classes at Vincennes University (Deaf Studies program) taking ASL Literature, ASL Linguistics, Deaf Culture & Community, ASL Features I and II. She also taught ASL classes at Horizon Christian School for two years. She moved to Indiana in 2001 when her late husband got a job at Indiana School for the Deaf. She is blessed to have 4 children; Ashley, Ashton, Ashlanna and Asher. Shereally enjoys teaching ASL and seeing her students thrive in ASL.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, spending time with her family, cooking and traveling. She is thankful to be part of the Northpoint community.

Stacia Floberg holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Arizona and a Master’s in Public Administration from Indiana University. Her extensive teaching experience has included time in the homeschool setting, Heritage Christian School, public school, Indiana Wesleyan University and IUPUI. Stacia not only taught intermediate and high school English and speech for years, but developed a dual credit communications course that has been approved by Indiana Wesleyan and Purdue University. Stacia and her husband, Jim, have been married for twenty-nine years and have three daughters- Lilly (26), Emma (24) and Kate (20). Stacia enjoys teaching a great deal and looks forward to getting to know her students and families as she partners with Northpoint to provide a positive and enjoyable Christian education experience.

Julie Webb is a mother to two Northpoint students and is honored to be a part of the staff and teaching team! She graduated from French Pastry School in Chicago in 2007 and uses these skills in preparing delicious home cooked meals for her family that fits dietary restrictions. She is an Etsy shop owner who creates and sells crochet items as well as written patterns for crocheting. She is self taught and has been crocheting and learning new techniques since a young girl in her teens. She is so excited to work with the Northpoint students in kitchen safety, making wonderful meals (and desserts which is her specialty!) as well as how to sew, staying on a determined budget and learning about finances. As well as social etiquette skills and fostering independence in the students with daily rhythms of home, school and work balance.
She has been married for almost 14 years to an incredible man and they have 2 sweet boys. As a family, they love trying new things together from new foods to camping in new places. They have a goal to see all the National Parks and have crossed quite a few off already.
