A School Environment Where Students Feel Known, Supported, and Connected

Smaller class sizes, flexible schedules, and meaningful relationships can make a big difference for students who feel overwhelmed and unseen in traditional school environments. At Northpoint Christian Academy, students are seen for the child and student God intends them to be.

Not every family feels that a traditional school environment is the best fit for their child. Many students thrive in smaller, more personal learning environments that prioritize relationships, flexibility, and individualized support over constant testing and one-size-fits-all education.

Northpoint believes families should have educational options that align with their values and the unique needs of their children. As one of the only independently funded Christian and hybrid schools in the area, Northpoint remains free to provide Christ-centered education rooted in Biblical truth, strong parent partnership, and educational flexibility without state oversight tied to voucher funding.

Thank You for Learning More About Us

Emily Cochran is the Executive Director at Northpoint Christian Academy. Her mother, Kathy Badger, founded the school with the desire to find an educational model that balanced the freedom and flexibility of homeschooling with the structure and education of private school. Motivated by her desire to provide a Christ-centered education, Kathy pioneered a new approach to Christian learning that would soon benefit other families as well.

At Northpoint Christian Academy, athletics is more than just competition—it’s a calling. Panthers Athletics is grounded in our mission to educate, equip, and empower student-athletes to pursue excellence on and off the field. Through every practice, game, and season, we aim to cultivate academic diligence, Biblical truth, and a deep understanding of God’s purpose in the lives of our students.

We believe sports are a powerful tool to teach discipline, teamwork, perseverance, and faith. Our coaches prioritize character development and spiritual growth just as much as athletic performance, creating an environment where students can thrive in every area of life.

Sports We Offer:

  • Girls & Boys Volleyball

  • Girls & Boys Basketball

  • Cheerleading

  • Archery

Most of our sports programs are available for students in 3rd grade through 12th grade, giving young athletes the opportunity to grow and develop over time. Whether your child is stepping onto the court for the first time or preparing for varsity-level competition, they’ll be part of a Christ-centered community that encourages them to play with passion, purpose, and integrity.

At Northpoint, we compete to honor God, build each other up, and pursue greatness for His glory. Go Panthers!
